This Earthen Door Collector’s Box

The entire project of 100 prints is contained in this archival 16.5x21x4” folio. The folio has two separate folders inside, both stamped, like the cover, with gold foil.

Folio 1, HERBARIUM, contains 66 prints, each an anthotype made with a different flower or plant species pressed in Emily Dickinson’s herbarium. Folio 2, CHROMOTAXIA, contains 33 prints, each one a “data drawing” that speaks to ecological themes. There is one silhouette of Emily Dickinson, an anthotype made with red daylily. The Collector’s Box Folio 2, also contains several printed text pages - stories that speak to the themes in each data drawing. The folio contains an introductory page as well as a colophon.
