The “Art Folio” accompanies the book by the same name. It contains 3 lumen collages - a brown bird, blue fern, and pink flower - each collage, hand-cut and mounted against white, in an iridescent black folio that measures 5x7”, housed in a plastic case.

The original lumens were scanned then reprinted as the archival pigment prints featured here. The Folio has a page of text listing the image titles. A vellum sheet protects each print. The pocket (like the “The World is Astonishing” book), houses a live (unfixed) lumen that will continue to change color as it is exposed to light. Each folio has a different lumen paper in the pocket (and will produce a different color print), so each folio is unique.

There are 12 Folios and 3 APs in the edition. The black folio is stamped with holographic text. All collages and the lumen paper are signed on the verso, as is the Folio. This work was designed for Traywick Contemporary’s 25th Anniversary year.
